Spot piuttosto difficile da trovare e per questo sempre poco affollato o deserto. L’accesso è possibile da Cotillo attraverso una strada sterrata molto accidentata caratterizzata da vari bivi privi di segnali dove in genere si deve tenere la destra e mantenersi non troppo lontano dalla costa. Lo spot lavora molte swell da Nord fino a Sud-ovest e dà il meglio di sé con alta marea. Il fondo è sabbioso con alcuni massi di lava sommersi. Con Kalima molto forte è l’unico spot parzialmente protetto dal vento (qui off-shore) e quindi praticabile. This is relatively hard to find and consequently crowd-free. The break receives a lot of swell and works best at high tide. Esquinzo is signposted off the main road N of La Oliva: from there the road leads through the desert following an unmarked road with many unmarked turn-offs. If you don't end up here, you could well end up somewhere better. Good luck! It is off the beaton track and as a result is usually pretty empty. Beach holds up to 8ft and works on a westerly swell and is offshore in an east wind. Best surfed at high tide. General Info How to get there Can be hard to find, head to Casas de Taca and then to the coast. Its a black sand beach and you can park there. Access & Parking Info / Cost Free access and parking. The break is usually empty so parking is never a problem. Surf Schools There are surf schools on the island but none that will be surfing at this spot. Stick to the main breaks if you want some lessons. When its Flat? Plenty of nightlife and things to do on the island.
